When the owners purchased this property in 2012, it was completely run down and required complete refurbishment throughout. The floor plan was small and dark with a northerly facing rear aspect. The design proposal was to construct a two storey extension to the rear with an open plan theme to the ground floor. Light was most important and the southern front allowed sunlight to cascade into the inner core of the house, cleaver use of roof windows to the rear also allowed sunlight to flood the interior. Space could be divided up if required through the installation of folding door screens internally and changes of floor level in the rear sunroom extension.
